Come hear NewseumED Volunteer Outreach Educator Tom Meenan talk about fake news--and how to spot it. Learn to navigate a media landscape where real and fake sometimes look all too similar. NewseumED is the education department of the Newseum and the Freedom Forum Institute. Since 1997, NewseumED has produced educational resources and experiences powered by the content and collection of the Newseum.

Presented by SSTCi in collaboration with the Silver Spring Village, the SPARKLE program is a monthly community outreach series in the Silver Spring Civic Building that enriches the lives of seniors in our area.

Wednesday April 10 at 2:00 in the Silver Spring Civic Building. RSVP via the Village website calendar, by email to programs@silverspringvillage.org, or by phoning the Village at 301-503-7401.
