Join us for a Community Drum Jam on Friday, September 14 at 2pm at the Silver Spring Civic Building! Grab a drum and have some fun jamming to the beat of community! Family Friendly. All Ages. No experience necessary! Drums provided or bring your own. Led by Katy Gaughan of Drumming for Wellness.

Katy is a professional drum circle facilitator, percussionist, retreat leader and event organizer whose mission is to bring people together to experience the healing power of drumming and rhythm. She has been organizing and hosting drum events in the Washington, DC area for over 15 years, most notably the Greenbelt Rhythm and Drum Festival, Wednesday Night Drum Jams, Takoma Park Summer Drum Circles and the Washington National Cathedral Drum Circles.

The SPARKLE series is jointly offered by Silver Spring Town Center Inc and Silver Spring Village.
